30-year Celebration
On October 23-24, 2019 at The Adora Convention Center, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnamese Assemblies of God church (VAG) happily celebrated its 30th anniversary.
Also on this occassion, the Church was honored to receive the decision to recognize the VAG religious organization signed by the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs and Dr. Bui Thanh Ha, Deputy head of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (CRA).
In this joy of embarking into a new phase in her history, VAG has also presented 100 wheelchairs to people with disabilities through the local government.
The program took place in joy and blessing with the participation of more than 1000 members, and guest speakers, who were overseas pastors and leaders. Members are encouraged and challenged through the preaching of the pastors to continue to RUN WITH THE VISION in the new phase.
Reverend Samuel Duong Thanh Lam, General Superintendent of VAG, shared: “It is a joy and a blessing to look back on the 30-year journey of the VAG Church. Although the Church has gone through difficult times the hand of the Lord still protects and sustains His Church to this day. This is indescribable joy!”
